Care

STEP 1
MEASURE & PLAN
Measure the width of your wall and divide it by the width of one panel: 22.6" for 94.5" panels, 23.6" for 118.1" XL panels. That tells you right away how many panels you need.
Pro tip. Center your layout so the cut-to-size panels end up on both sides.
Installation was a breeze. Panels feel very well built and solid. Was very happy to find a vendor with the extra long panels (10 feet) that fit our space so well.
The wood slats look great in the room and were very easy to install. I did have to cut them to size using a miter saw for length adjustments and a table saw for width. The panels were easy to work with. Very happy with the purchase.
I did have to contact customer service for a minor issue with my order, they were responsive and easy to work with and they corrected the issue quickly.
These were easy to install with a combination of Liquid Nails Paneling and Molding adhesive (don’t use the similar Dap brand) and screws. The gray felt contains a lot of white, so we chose 1 5/8” x #8 white wood screws, which virtually disappeared when used. The panels are fairly easy to cut with a sharp utility knife, but they do dull the blades quickly, so have a few on hand if making multiple cuts. We used 30’ of paneling to dampen the sound in our yoga studio, and the reverberation in the space was cut noticeably after installation.
Good product. Fit our needs to cover a door opening. We installed it with drywall screws into plywood. attractive and subtle with the gray flannel backing.
Love the look and my only regret is not doing it sooner. I hired a taskrabbit and they had a super easy time cutting the panels and hanging them. Adds so much more depth to the room.
One of the panels had a small crack in it and so I reached out and they sent me a full new panel which I plan to install under my island in my kitchen. Amazing customer experience all around!

The end strip is for the side and not as shown in the picture for finishing the top. However, it worked out and we are very satisfied with the end result.

Beautiful panels of good quality. It would be handy if small paint pots or markers in the different stain colors were available. Should there be any damage to the veneer (because it's more vulnerable) that it can be touched up.
Nice material to work with, slowly but surely attached to the walls on 2 cm slats in my free time, electrical cables routed: these can be perfectly and invisibly routed through the acoustic felt layer where you can then attach the lamps of your choice. The slats are more than strong enough for heavy ceiling spots, I chose rail spots. Mounting a nice cabinet on it, a separate mirror, and finally a nice design wall lamp: very happy with the end result of just 2 acoustic wall panels!
We built a sliding door from the acoustic panels that separates our stairwell from the living room. To match the design, we used the leftovers on our living room picture. The product is really beautifully made. I would order here again anytime.

The panels are super easy to mount on the wall with glue. However, you should be two people because they are very heavy. The sleeping corner now feels much warmer, and the acoustics are also very pleasant in the whole room.
Ordered a wall panel from Aku Woodpanel for the second time. The first time I noticed that the quality was good, but it was on the expensive side. I checked with another company (Aku Panel Outlet), and what a mess that was! I'm glad I didn't order from there. The panels from Aku Woodpanel are much nicer, and the sides of the individual slats are also colored! Unfortunately, the panel I received was damaged. After visiting several companies, we ended up at AKU Woodpanel, a beautiful showroom with various options and panels up to 3m with very nice veneer wood on all 3 sides. After ordering, everything was delivered within 3 working days by a driver who knew exactly what he was transporting, top! Due to the hard materials and a lot of glass surfaces in our living space, we had an annoying reverberation. We first made a frame filled with Partywall (specific sound-insulating rock wool) of 2cm. We then mounted the AKU Woodpanel panels (rustic walnut) with black drywall screws. We are very satisfied with the end result, as you can see in the photos.
