Care
Wooden wall panels stay beautiful with minimal maintenance. Wipe the panels with a dry or slightly damp microfiber cloth, in the direction of the wood grain. Do not use harsh cleaning or abrasive products and avoid lots of water to protect the veneer and the acoustic felt.

STEP 1
MEASURE & PLAN
Measure the width of your wall and divide it by the width of one panel: 22.6" for 94.5" panels, 23.6" for 118.1" XL panels. That tells you right away how many panels you need.
Pro tip. Center your layout so the cut-to-size panels end up on both sides.
These are very nice panels! I like them so much I am ordering more to finish out the wall (I only did spaces directly behind my speakers, and bare wall between them, behind my tv.) The smoked color is very nice and these are very well made. Packaging can result in some burnishing of the finish so if this happens to you, you can safely fix it. Saves you the hassle of returning and then the wait for replacements. I worked with Aku before trying this as I wanted to be sure it was safe. I used 1500 grit sandpaper. Rub the spots with just a little pressure & ensure you stay straight up & down. Do a little at a time until any marks are gone, and go above and below the marks (if any) so it blends. The burnish was gone and the color stayed the same so you can't tell anything happened or was fixed. Aku was super easy to work with and they even contacted me directly. Excellent customer service!!
The panels arrived decently protected while strapped onto the pallet. Upon unboxing all the panels were in great shape. I will say that you must be careful if using a razor knife so as not to slice the wood slats. There is no protective film or any air gaps between the panels and the cardboard.
The installation process was pretty straight forward with the help of a second person.
I really like the look and feel the room has now, much more dramatic and pleasing to the eyes. I don't have any finish photos yet as we have other remodeling to do in the room but i can absolutely share them when the project is finished.
Loved the akupanel wood slats. They completely elevated the accent wall in my basement. It went above and beyond what I expected. The installation was super straightforward. It only needed a couple of hand tools to get them trimmed and installed. I would highly recommend them.
I hired a handyman to install the panels. At my request, they were installed on 1" x 2" furring strips and a slight gap was left at the top and bottom to accommodate LED light strips. The panels are high quality and they look absolutely great and are just what my room needed. Also, I noticed a sound difference right away. The TV will eventually be mounted to the wall and a new console table has been ordered as well.
The delivery and quality was above and beyond what was expected. The wall was super easy to install and gave my room a glamours look and feel!

12 foot ceilings. Used the 118 inch panels, and added 24 inches to the bottom section. Panels arrived quickly and I apprecieted the corner protectors in each box.
Delivery was mixed-up - driver couldn't handle the 12 foot pallet and had no way to unload it, except one at a time by hand. Still missing 3 items (the "end/finish" pieces.
Used the CREATE hangers from WoodUpp to mount the TV - Love it - very easy to use.
First, the product itself is outstanding. Beautiful color, well made, and relatively easy to install. There were good videos on YouTube which helped a lot. Then, i had to return my order because the smoked oak was just not right in my living room. The customer service to get this accomplished and credited was, again, outstanding. Respectful and reaponsive, I couldnt have asked for a better experience to accomplish this design upgrade for our home.
I really like the look and it was very easy to work with. I wish it was a full 10’ in length but I will finish with a 6’ base board and it will look really nice.
The panels arrived in good condition - packaging was excellent. They were easy to install, and look fantastic. The light set added a little elegance, and work great wither from an iPhone or the remote which we bought separately.

Wow, the wall looks great. Had some damaged pieces which were promptly reshipped. Install was not bad at all. I used screws with a small head and are not visable at. The ceiling in this condo is about 117" so the taller ones fit the bill. Its located near the Field Of Dreams in Dyersville Iowa and Im sure it would be Shoeless Joe Jackson approved.

Completed the job myself, extremely please with the end result. One sour note was the second panel fell off and it was extremely difficult to apply the glue which I got from Aku Woodpanel UK. After buying glue from screwfix, at a third of the cost I noticed that the glue supplied by Aku Woodpanel UK was out-of-date, not good.
