Acoustic Wall Panels

Bare walls and floors often cause indoor echoes, making spaces feel more uninviting and less comfortable. Sound bounces around, straining your ears and making your mind work overtime to process it all, which can lead to mental fatigue. If you are looking for a sound-absorbing solution but love a minimalist look and don’t want to add curtains, carpets, or artwork, acoustic wall panels are a great option. These panels not only look great but also absorb sound effectively. They also come ready-made in a standard size for easy installation.

Enhancing Home Acoustics

Acoustic wall panels are designed to improve the sound quality in your home. Many modern homes feature a sleek, Scandinavian design that, while stylish, often results in unwanted echoes due to bare walls and floors. Acoustic wall panels provide a stylish way to dampen sound and reduce these echoes.

These panels consist of three layers: felt, fiberboard, and MDF (medium-density fiberboard) slats with a melamine finish. The felt absorbs sound, the fiberboard breaks up sound waves, and the MDF slats add durability and style.

Because we recognize that no two spaces are the same, our panels are available in a wide range of styles and colors to suit any home or office. These include:

  • Black Oak
  • Natural Oak
  • Natural Oak with black felt
  • Walnut
  • Smoked Oak

Installation Tips

Wondering how many panels you need? It depends on the level of sound improvement you’re looking for. For minor echo reduction, covering about 25% of your living room’s floor area should do the trick. For a more noticeable improvement, aim for 35%.

Place the panels as close as possible to the source of the sound. You can install them above seating areas, dining tables, or even on the ceiling. If you're into DIY projects, check out our blog for ideas on using acoustic wall panels.
