Combine Our Wall Panels with Light Strips
Using light strips can significantly enhance the appearance and functionality of wall panels. Light strips create a refined and modern look, allowing the textures and details of the panels to stand out. Moreover, carefully placed lighting creates a warm and inviting atmosphere in the space. With our wooden slat wall panels, light strips can highlight the natural beauty of the wood and improve acoustic performance by optimizing the visual ambiance.
Installing Our Acoustic Panels
- Step 1: Measure the height of the wall where you want to install the acoustic panels and cut the panels to size with a circular saw. If you don’t have a circular saw, you can use a regular handsaw to shorten the wood and felt.
- Step 2: Make sure the wall or ceiling where you will place the panels is clean and free of screws and other obstacles. Gently sand the surface and degrease it with ammonia or a similar product.
- Step 3: Apply the adhesive evenly on the back of the panel. It is best to spread the adhesive in a smooth motion over the entire panel. Place the panel on the desired spot on the surface and press it firmly.
- Step 4: Cut the protruding edge of felt from the last panel with a sharp knife so that you end with a wooden slat. This gives a neat finish to the edge of your installation.
Extra Tip: Make sure to align and check the panels before applying the adhesive. The adhesive can be very strong, making it difficult to reposition the panel afterward.
